Best Mexican ever other than my own!!!!

My first time eating @ Marco's was 6.5 years ago when I got hitched. It exceeded
my expectations by a long shot. It is the best chance on food I could have taken.
The only bad thing is that I tend to over-indulge when I dine there. You would too
because it is so good! Don't take my word for it until you try it yourself. I refuse
to visit Houston without dining @ Marco's! Actually, I will be dining there very
soon. Just go and ENJOY!!!!

In the shadow of Reliant Stadium, the colorful oasis of a festive cantina dwells
among the area’s sprawling asphalt-flanked strip centers. The price and quality
of this local chain’s heavy fare hovers somewhere between Taco Cabana and
Lupe Tortilla, livened up by dishes utilizing catfish and shrimp as well as cheaper
(and stronger) house ‘ritas than most. The jovial interior sports a split-level
floor, full bar, and spacious seating, catering largely to a middle-aged crowd with
a good deal of family traffic. It'll do for a Tex-Mex pit stop if you’re in
the area.
Always my favorite

I make it a point to go to Marco's every time I go to Houston. It is conveniently
located close to M.D. Anderson so it's always a treat to have an outstanding blended
margarita and warm chips with guacamole. I've tried several dishes and can't yet
say I have a "favorite" because they have all been great. I took my family
along with me last time and they confirmed it is truly a nice place to go to when
you're hungry and leave STUFFED. Very friendly service. Only once was it so crowded
that it took a little longer to get our food, which allowed me time for another
heavenly margarita. I've been there 5 times now and it keeps calling me back. Another
frozen margarita please!!
